Match kick-off at 18:00 Fri, 6th at the Thani bin Jassim stadium

Al Gharafa head coach Marcos Paquetá:
“It's important for us to take these three points to motivate our players even more. After a good win against Qatar SC we have to get good results since we had a bad run of results earlier. We didn't have a good game but the result was important for us. It gave us motivation. And this is good for the team which has a few new players. Now we are ready for this game which we will play at home.”

“Our team is due for some victories. Game by game we are working on that. Now I feel I have the right players to get the right combination during the game. I know how well these players can use the space despite changing positions. I hope that we play better in this game than the last one, especially in the first 20 minutes because that's where we concede quite a few goals.”

“They have good players and they counter attack quickly. But we have our strategy also. We have to stick to that and win games if we want to achieve our aim of a top-4 finish.”

Gharafa new signing - Cisero Santos:
“I was coming from big break in Brazil. I wasn't ready 100 per cent and that affected my ability to play for 90 minutes. But I have worked on recovering my fitness and now game by game, I am improving my fitness. The last game was very important. It brought back our confidence. We want to keep winning, especially in this match, since we are playing a very good team.”

Al Khor head coach László Boloni:
“We are preparing for this game seriously, as we have done with our previous games. Regarding our ambitions, with the quality of our team, we will try to stay as close to the middle of the table as possible.”

“I think our situation, as compared to a few days ago, is better now. Gharafa are a team that can change its appearance all the time and they have done it several times during this season. They have changed their professional players. They have changed their formation too.”

However I have to focus on my players and I have to see that they remain sharp - in their head. That way we will be able to adapt to the situation that the game throws at us. Our team has the quality and we would like to show that during the game.

Al Khor’s Saeed Ibrahim:
“The last result has given us more confidence. But we need to forget that now and focus on the next one. Our ambition is to get better results every match.”

“Because we saved our place in the first division, the coach can give opportunities to young players in order to see what they can do.”
