QSL side Al Gharafa drew 0-0 with Saudi giants Ittihad Jeddah in their first friendly played during their training camp in Abu Dhabi.
The match was an ideal opportunity for new coach Pedro Caixinha to test out the strength of his side. Indeed the Portuguese tactician fielded two completely different sides in both halves.
The side will now rest on Thursday before resuming training sessions on Friday followed by their second a friendly game against Croatian Club HNK Rejika on the 20th of January.
The Cheetahs are currently eighth in the QSL standings, and will be looking to build on an indifferent start to the QSL season. They face Al Ahli when QSL action resumes on January the 27th.
