“After our last game we were lucky to keep our place in the table. We must respond quickly after such a heavy defeat to Al Wakrah. We are playing a very organized team, Umm Salal is a stronger side and we must forget our previous game.”
“I think this game will be tougher than in the first half of the season, we beat them but it will be a difficult challenge as they have one of the best defenses in the league now. They have only conceded 11 goals this season.”
“The previous game we had 24 shots on target and scored only one and they had 15 and scored 6, but I believe in my players. Sometime a result like that can spell the end of a coach’s tenure at a club but I still think we are in a good position and I believe in my players. It was a strange game, in the first 15 minutes we were 3 goals down.”
