Al Gharafa Sports Club drew with Qatar Gas League side Al Shahania 1-1 in a friendly played on Saturday evening at the Cheetahs home ground – the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium.

In Round 9 of Qatar Stars League which resumes this weekend Al Gharafa will face Al Sailiya on the 21^st of Nov at 16:00 at Al Arabi stadium.

The Congolese striker Alain Dioko scored for Al Gharafa at the 14^th minute while Al Shahania equalized during the second half. The match was on average level from both sides as Al Gharafa played with most of the reserved team players within the exception of Alain Dioko and Qasem Burhan who both were substituted during the second half.

Al Gharafa is in the 7^th position in the league table with 11 points.
