Al Gharafa Sports Club defeated German side FC Nuremberg on Tuesday, beating them 3-1. This match was the Cheetah’s third friendly ahead of the new Qatar Stars League Season which will kick off on the 11 of September.

Nuremberg took the lead on the 16^th minute of the first half, after which Al Gharafa responded exactly nine minutes later courtesy of Mohsen Al Yazidi with the equaliser.

The stand out player of the match was Tunisian player Yassine Chikhaoui as well as the Congolese goal machine Alain Dioko who scored twice, first on the 68^th minute and then on the 88^th minute.

The club’s technical team was keen to field as many players as they could in order to evaluate the players’ level of physical and technical ability.

So far the Cheetahs have scored an impressive 9 goals in just 3 friendly preseason matches.
