Al Gharafa Sports Club defeated German side FC Nuremberg on Tuesday, beating them 3-1. This match was the Cheetah’s third friendly ahead of the new Qatar Stars League Season which will kick off on the 11 of September.<br />

Nuremberg took the lead on the 16^th minute of the first half, after which Al Gharafa responded exactly nine minutes later courtesy of Mohsen Al Yazidi with the equaliser.<br />
<br />
The stand out player of the match was Tunisian player Yassine Chikhaoui as well as the Congolese goal machine Alain Dioko who scored twice, first on the 68^th minute and then on the 88^th minute.<br />

The club’s technical team was keen to field as many players as they could in order to evaluate the players’ level of physical and technical ability.<br />

So far the Cheetahs have scored an impressive 9 goals in just 3 friendly preseason matches.
