QSL side Al Khor will be without defender Naif Al-Buraiki for up to three weeks, following an injury during their 2-1 defeat to Al Gharafa in round eight of the QSL season.

The twenty six year old pulled his hamstring during the game, and the Khor medical team has deemed the defender sidelined for three weeks whilst he recovers. The news will be a major blow for Al Khor’s French head coach Jean Fernandez as Buraiki was a regular in central defense for the Knights.

Khor will now begin to turn their attention to preparing for their round nine clash when they take on Al Sadd in a tricky away game.  Al Khor are currently in tenth place in the QSL standings and have eight points from eight games in the league.
