Al Arabi capped of a busy transfer deadline day announcing the signature of Brazilian attacker Alan Souza. Souza is set to replace compatriot Junior Dutra, who has now left the club. Gianfranco Zola has now confirmed his four professional players for the remainder of the season.

Iranian international Ashkan Dejagah will be joined with compatriot Javad Nekounam, whilst Arabi will also be able to call on Brazilian midfielder Paulinho along with Alan Souza.

Souza has been training with Arabi during the winter break, and should be available for selection for Arabi’s round 17 clash with Al Gharafa on Friday the 5^th of Febuary at Gharafa stadium.
