QSL side Al Arabi, only managed a goal-less draw with Qatar Gas League side Muaither on Sunday evening, as the Dream Team ramp up preparations for the second half of the QSL season.
The first half produced few chances. During the second half, Zola made some changes pushing for the win however Muaither remained resolute in defense and the match ended 0-0.
Despite the draw, head coach Gianfranco Zola would have used the friendly as a good opportunity to test the fitness of all of his squad. Al Arabi will play Qatar Sports Club when the QSL resumes on the 28th of January at Al Gharafa stadium, K.O at 19:00pm.
