Al Ahli Sports Club is set to convene an official press conference today at 21:30 in the QFA’s Football Development headquarters to introduce their new attacking acquisition.
The Brigadiers have brought in 21 year old Congolese forward Firmin Ndombe Mubele from Vita Club Kinshasa to replace fan favourite and top QSL goal scorer for two years running, Alain Dioko who, this summer moved to Al Gharafa Sports Club.
In addition Al Ahli will also introduce a number of local players, which the club has signed over the summer break, they include: Meshaal Mubarak form Al Gharafa, Abdel Rahman Mesabbah from Qatar Sports Club, Khalid Sherif from Umm Salal, Abdullah Ayesh from El Jaish, Taher Al Boloushi from Al Rayyan and Ali Al Boloushi from Al Wakrah.
The club will also convene a special gala dinner following the press conference to celebrate the team’s performance in the previous season, the Greens finished in 5th spot with 38 points.
