QSL side Al Ahli has announced the signing of Argentine striker Danilo Carando. The club confirmed that the Real Garcilaso striker has passed medical, agreed personal terms and has signed a six month contract with the Doha based club.

Ahli also confirmed that Carando will be replacing Congolese midfielder Mulota Kabangu as their fourth designated foreign player. Ahli are currently 9th in the QSL standings, and have scored just 18 goals in the first half of the season. They will be hoping that Carando can hit the ground running for his new side, who will be looking for an upturn in fortunes in the second half of the league.

After signing his deal the Argentinian striker has headed to Abu Dhabi to join his new team-mates on their training camp from the 13th to the 21st of January. Al Ahli will also play a friendly against Arabian Gulf League side Al Dhafra. The side will then return to Qatar to prepare for their QSL match against Al Gharafa on the 27th of January.
