Al Ahli Sports Club will hand over a cheque this Saturday 15^th November at 6pm to the Philippine School Doha. The Club raised the money through the support of the QSL and the thousands who turned out to support the good cause. The fund raising took place in round 10 of the QSL with the national teams of both the Philippines and Nepal playing their match straight after.

The total money raised was QR 114, 000 and the handing over ceremony will see the Al Ahli Managing and Marketing manager Mr. Nasser Laram as well as Club secretary Mr. Hassan Al Mullah in attendance.

Philippine Ambassador Mr. Crescente R Relacion and School Principal of the Philippine School Doha Mr. Acosta will be at the press conference to receive the big donation. 

The match attendance record for the QSL was broken during the encounter between Al Ahli and Umm Salal with a crowd of 11, 506 spectators.
