QSL sides Al Ahli and Al Kharaityat faced each other on Saturday evening in a friendly match, with both sides looking to keep up their fitness ahead of the third round of QSL action.
The tie ended in an entertaining 2-2 draw, with Al Ahli racing into the lead with goals from summer signing Yessoh Nguessan and captain Meshal Abdullah. However Kharitiyat found their way back into the match, thanks to strikes from Lassina Diaby and Abdulhadi Dalloul.
Both coaches will see the match as a perfect way to assess the fitness of their side going into the third round of QSL action. Al Khraitiyat will take on Al Arabi, whilst Al Ahli will take on Al Wakrah when the QSL resumes on Saturday the 15th of October.
