QSL side Al Ahli have announced a friendly match with Al Shamal, as Yousuf Adam’s side ramp up preparations for their round 24 match against bottom side Mesaimeer.

The tie against the Qatar Gas league side will take place on Monday evening at Al Ahli stadium. In team news, the squad trained on Saturday evening. Notable absences included Meshal Abdullah, Pejman Montazeri and Firmin  Mubele who are currently representing their national teams.

Ahli will be looking to build on their fine 3-1 derby win over Al Arabi in round 24, when they face Meisameer on Saturday the 2^nd of April KO 20:30 at Al Arabi stadium.
