Al Gharafa Football Club is set to bring in Uruguayan Head Coach Diego Aguirre to take over the reins after the surprise departure of Pericles Chamusca last Thursday evening.

Gharafa said that the Uruguayan will arrive into Doha shortly and will lead the team as they head into Round 10 of the Qatar Stars League.

Aguirre is no stranger to the QSL as he has coached Gharafa in the 2014/15 season for a brief spell, where he was able to get some decent wins with the Cheetahs.
