The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will visit four Qatar Stars League clubs to conduct spot checks on the implementation of club licensing.  The visit will take place between Saturday the 25th of October and Tuesday the 28th of October.

Essentially it is a meeting with the clubs to ensure that they have conducted the process properly and that the clubs are developing according to the desired criteria.

This involves the AFC meeting with the clubs and their respective club licensing departments to discuss various aspects of the licensing process. For this visit the AFC delegation will be meeting with four Qatar Stars League clubs. They are – Umm Salal, Lekhwiya, Al Sailiya and Qatar Sports Club. All of the QSL clubs were chosen at random. In addition the AFC delegation will endeavour to seek any feedback that any of the clubs may have.

Furthermore the AFC will review how the League implements the current club licensing, such as: what the QSL’s regulations are, the current set-up of the various committees and any value added processes or documents that the League may have in its possession.

This is the third year of club licensing and the second year that the clubs have been spot checked.
