Al Gharafa Sports Club introduced their new signing Abdel Aziz Hatem to the local media at a press conference at the club’s headquarters, the Thani bin Jassim stadium. The midfielder arrived this summer from Al Arabi, after signing a four-year contract with Al Gharafa.
 
The press conference was held last Thursday evening in the presence of the club’s Head of Football Mr Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohamed Al Thani.
 
Sheikh Hamad spoke at the beginning of the press conference and welcomed the player describing him as a strong addition to the squad.
 
From his side, Abdel Aziz Hatem thanked Al Gharafa Sports Club as well as his previous Club Al Arabi.
 
Abdel Aziz Hatem said, "I hope to be successful with my new team and achieve some titles especially since the team has some distinguished players."
 
Commenting on the reasons behind accepting Al Gharafa’s bid, Hatem said, “The atmosphere within the club helps the players to accomplish big achievements, the club is run in a very professional manner.”
 
To conclude the midfielder wished his former club Al Arabi all the best and thanked the fans for their support during his years with the team.
