Al Gharafa Sports Club introduced their new signing Abdel Aziz Hatem to the local media at a press conference at the club’s headquarters, the Thani bin Jassim stadium. The midfielder arrived this summer from Al Arabi, after signing a four-year contract with Al Gharafa.<br />

The press conference was held last Thursday evening in the presence of the club’s Head of Football Mr Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohamed Al Thani.<br />

Sheikh Hamad spoke at the beginning of the press conference and welcomed the player describing him as a strong addition to the squad.<br />

From his side, Abdel Aziz Hatem thanked Al Gharafa Sports Club as well as his previous Club Al Arabi.<br />

Abdel Aziz Hatem said, "I hope to be successful with my new team and achieve some titles especially since the team has some distinguished players."<br />

Commenting on the reasons behind accepting Al Gharafa’s bid, Hatem said, “The atmosphere within the club helps the players to accomplish big achievements, the club is run in a very professional manner.”<br />

To conclude the midfielder wished his former club Al Arabi all the best and thanked the fans for their support during his years with the team.
