Al Wakrah coach Vicente Moreno spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 13 match against Al Duhail.

“Our preparations for the upcoming league match against Al Duhail was excellent, the encounter would be difficult for both sides.

“We are ready for the next match because I have seen the players’ hard work this week and that is why we are prepared. I have great confidence in all players.

“Al Duhail are a big club with good players and currently the teams are very close in the standings. But if we want to win, we have to give it our all,” said Moreno.

Al Wakrah player Nasser Al Yazidi said, “We are very optimistic about our ability to win and secure all points to maintain our hopes of breaking into the top four. We must capitalize on every opportunity in this match to win and hold on to that hope.”
