
Al Sadd confirmed the news via their official website. Sadd had initially signed the former FC Barcelona midfielder for two seasons at the start of the 2015/2016 season. The news will be a major boost for Al Sadd who are currently fighting for the QSL title.
The Wolves are currently in second place in the QSL standings, just three points behind current league leaders. They are set to take on Al Gharafa on Friday evening in the QSL match of the week for round 18.
