QSL Al Shahania have confirmed that influencial midfielder Mohammed Sayyar will be absent for his sides crunch round 17 clash against Al Gharafa on Saturday evening. The club confirmed today that Sayyar will miss the tie at Al Gharafa stadium, whilst serving a one game ban after receiving his fourth yellow card of the season in the 1-1 draw with Umm Salal.

In other team news, Igor Štimac will welcome back January signing Rahim Zahivi into contention after recovering from a muscle pull that saw the Iranian miss out on the Umm Salal game. The return of Zahivi will be a major boost for the Oryxes ahead of their tough challenge against the fifth placed side in the QSL. Al Shahania is currently in twelfth place in the QSL standings with fourteen points from sixteen QSL games.
