Match kick –off 18:15 at the Grand Hamad stadium Sunday 12th of April.

Sabri Lamouchi – El Jaish head coach
“We are playing one the giants of Qatari football; of course after their big defeat in the ACL they will try and come back strong so we must be aware of this.”

“If we win against Sadd then Lekhwiya will take the title so it is a very important game regardless.”

“It would be a big mistake from me to think about the Qatar Cup as we still have two games left. We will all play at the same time so we are all in the same position.”

“It will be the first time I have faced Mr. Ammouta, he is a great coach and I applaud his hard work with such a top club, it will be an intriguing encounter.”

"Mushab Mahmoud will miss out, we also have two other players who are a doubt"

“I am very happy with the group of players that i have at my disposal but as you said el Jaish is a big club, and so for sure we will try again next season to win the league.  However we will have to change a few things in the summer that’s for sure.”

Hussien Ammouta  - Al Sadd head coach
“Of course we still have a small chance to win the title but we have a tough game as we will play against Jaish. We hope that Ahli do us a favour but really it is Lekhwiya’s to lose.”

“I am playing against a big coach, I was very happy when I heard Sabri would join our league. I respect him and wish him a lot of success.”

“I hope that Lekhwiya struggle in their clash against Ahli, in the last game against Shahania the occasion got the better of them. To win the league they need to be psychologically ready.”

“I am excited however for next season; we will have a good front line. For most of this season we haven’t had a lot of our strikers, but finally Muriqui came back, Graphite joined us and Yousef is also back. Hamza also did well last week, so I am optimistic. It’s just a shame that for most of the season we haven’t been able to have them all on the pitch at the same time.”

"Moshab couldn’t make it for the last game, after the Gharafa game he only managed one session in training. So he will probably not play. Jasser Yahia and Ibrahim Majid will also be out.”

“We will probably have a similar line to the one against Gharafa.”

“Of course after the last defeat I was not happy but we as a team have to get back on our feet and I have to try to motivate the players once more. Our target is to win tomorrow against El Jaish.”
