Al Sadd will be looking to temporarily top the QSL standings for 24 hours with a win over Al Gharafa in the QSL match of the week on Saturday evening. Wolves coach Jesaldo Ferriera and midfielder Jugurtha Hamroun spoke to the media ahead of the game. 

Ferriera  opened up the press conference noting that his sides game against Al Gharafa won’t be easy. “The win against Muiather was good for the team and it showed our fighting spirit. Now we must turn our attentions to Al Gharafa, which will be a big test for our side.”

The Portuguese coach also had a kind word for his compatriot Pedro Caixina at Al Gharafa.“This year they have improved in the league under Caixinia. They have had good moments and bad moments in the season, but Al Gharafa have a overall tactical plan and he has done a good job with the side.”

Whilst for midfielder Jugurtha Hamroun noted that three points We have a short recovery time for this game. We still have a chance to be on top of the league, and we will be aiming to get three points against Al Gharafa. 

Hamroun  ended the press conference stressing that his side have to be at the top of their game to get the three points. “The first match against Al Gharafa was hard, it will be one of the hardest game of the season and Al Sadd will have to be at full focus for this match.”

Al Gharafa head into the match of the week against Al Sadd on a high following a comprehensive 3-0 win over Al Shahania last time out. Head coach Pedro Caixina and midfielder Kooky Han spoke to the media before the Saturday evening match. 

Opening up the press conference the Portuguese coach stressed that his side were looking to contunie winning ways. “The team is ready and has trained well this week and our focusing is only on winning this game against a tough side.”

“The players showed plenty of character with the win. We know that we are facing one of the strongest teams in the league one of the candidates for the title. We respect them and we will now looking to play again for the win” noted the Portugeese coach at the pre-match press conference.

Al Gharafa are currently in fifth place in the QSL standings, and Caixinia stressed that his side are looking to chase down their top four place.“We are hunting down the sides above us now, and that is what we are aiming to do we are being predators and we need to continue winning.”

Whilst for South Korean midfielder Kooky Han, he suggested that his side can defeat Al Sadd on Saturday evening. “Al Sadd are a strong side and if we following what we have been doing on the training pitch we will face no problems.”

Han ended the press conference stating that he is enjoying life we Al Gharafa. “The goal is to finish as  high as possible in the league, and this is our aim from everyone in Al Gharafa.I am happy at Al Gharafa at the moment, I will be continuing to do my best with the club this season.”
