Reigning QSL champions Al Rayyan registered a 1-0 friendly victory over international side Laos, as the Lions prepare to defend their QSL crown.

A Sergio Garcia penalty on the 75^th minute was enough for Jorge Fossati’s side who took on the south east asian team at Aspire Zone. The tie will serve as an important test for Rayyan who are fine tuning their squad ahead of the start of the season.

Al Rayyan will open up their QSL campaign on Saturday the 17^th of September when they will take on newly promoted Al Shahania.
