The 2015/2016 domestic QSL season will come to a close with two games on Saturday evening.

Al Arabi will face Al Sailiya in a mid-table clash at Al Arabi stadium, KO 18:15. Both sides focus will be firmly on the Emir Cup and are in need of a moral boosting win ahead of the end of season competition.

Gianfranco Zola’s Al Arabi have been stuttering in recent weeks. Indeed they have only registered one win in the last seven QSL games, a run which has put to bed their Qatar Cup hopes. Arabi should welcome back captain Paulinho for this tie and he will be charged with breaking down a stubborn Al Sailiya defense.

Sailiya come into the tie on similar form, registering two wins in the last seven QSL games. Sami Trabelsi will look  to the sides top scorer Faouzi Aaish for inspiration in front of goal. The Bahraini international currently has 14 goals in 23 QSL games this season.

The final game of the season kicks off at 20:30 at Al Gharafa stadium and will see the reigning QSL champions Al Rayyan face an Al Ahli side who have hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks.

The Brigadiers are undefeated in the last 4 QSL matches and are fresh from a thrilling 5-4 victory over Lekhwiya last time out. The attacking duo of Mouchine Iajour and captain Meshal Abdulla have been crucial for Yusef Adam’s side in recent weeks and will be a handful for a Al Rayyan defense that has conceded 20 goals this season so far, the lowest in the QSL.

As for Al Rayyan, they come into the tie on improved form after the dramatic 2-2 draw with Al Sadd in the Qatari Clasico. The Lions have only managed 2 points from a possible 12 since lifting the Falcon shield in round 25. Rayyan will be without influential midfielder Víctor Cáceres for this tie. The Paraguay international is serving a domestic ban following his red card in the Qatar Classico.

Jorge Fossati will be hoping for a victory, which will carry his side into the Qatar Cup.
