The Qatar Stars League have ramped up their preparations ahead of the new 2016/2017 season by holding a technical meeting with all 14 QSL clubs.<br />

The meeting was held by the QSL competitions team at Al Bidda tower, the home of Qatari football, the meeting chaired by Ahmed Adsani, director of the QSL competitions department.<br />
<br />
During the hour long meeting the clubs where told of crucial match-day information and the importance of following key protocols set by the competitions team. The clubs also revealed their brand new home kits which will be used during the 2016/2017 QSL season.<br />
<br />
The Qatar Stars League is set to kick off on Thursday the 15^th of September when Al Ahli take on Al Gharafa in the opening game of the season.<br />
