Mr. Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of the Qatar Stars League (QSL), received a delegation from the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro) in his office at its headquarters in the Al Bidda Tower on the sidelines of its visit to Doha.

The delegation included FIFPro General Secretary Mr. Jonas Baer-Hoffmann, Deputy General Secretary Mr. Simon Colosimo, Director of Communications Mr. Alejandro Varsky and Policy Advisor and Strategic Project Co-ordinator Mr. Erica Puppo.

On his part, Mr. Hani welcomed the FIFPro delegation’s visit to the QSL and praised the role it plays as far as professional players are concerned, especially in this tough phase that football is passing through in the wake of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, which has adversely affected sports and football.

During the meeting, they discussed football and the great developments the game has witnessed over the past years, the tournaments, events and sports events organized by the QSL, in addition to the possibility of exchanging experience as well as expertise and aspects related to football and players, and ways for improvement.
