Al Gharafa SC has decided to part ways with Brazilian head coach Marcos Paqueta after losses that hit the team in the last two rounds. The first was a loss to Al Sadd and then against Al Kharaitiyat.
 
The termination of the contract between the club and the Brazilian coach was decided by mutual consent; the club thanked Paqueta and wished him luck for the future.
 
Gharafa will therefore be led temporarily by assistant head coach - Tunisian Habib Sadiq.
