The competition and enthusiasm continued during the Week 10 matches of 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League, played on November 22 and 23, 2024. All teams demonstrated strong competition in their pursuit of accumulating points.

Al Duhail consolidated their lead and retained their position at the top with just one round away from the conclusion of first leg. With their eighth victory of the season, Al Duhail have amassed 25 points, maintaining a four-point advantage over their nearest rivals, Al Sadd and Al Ahli.

All matches concluded with victories, and there were no draws in the round. The match between Al Khor and Al Sadd featured the highest number of goals, totaling seven, while Al Duhail secured the most significant victory against Al Arabi with a score of 5-0. In total, the round witnessed a total of 26 goals.

Al Shahania and Al Shamal emerged as the most notable beneficiaries of this round, both achieving victories. Al Shahania moved up from eleventh to seventh place, surpassing Umm Salal on goal difference, while Al Shamal advanced from eighth to sixth place.

In terms of standings, Al Duhail recorded a commanding victory over Al Arabi in the key match of the round, elevating their points total to 25 and consolidating their first place. Conversely, Al Arabi fell to tenth place after suffering their fourth defeat of the season, remaining at 10 points, which puts them level with Al Rayyan in ninth and Qatar SC in eleventh.

This victory underscores Al Duhail’s determined pursuit of the title, as coach Christopher Galtier has successfully revitalized the team’s performance. They dominated the match from the outset, establishing control early in the first half, while Al Arabi struggled to mount a comeback in the second half, exacerbated by the expulsion of their Tunisian striker, Yousef Msakni, following a severe challenge on Brazilian defender Lucas Verissimo six minutes before the match concluded.

Al Sadd maintained their vigorous chase for the top position with a thrilling victory over Al Khor, staging a remarkable comeback from a two-goal deficit to secure a 5-2 triumph. This victory elevated Al Sadd's points total to 21, placing them second in the standings, ahead of Al Ahli in third on goal difference. Meanwhile, Al Khor remain at the bottom with only four points, still seeking their first win of the season.

Al Ahli also showcased their impressive form this season, achieving a 3-0 victory against Umm Salal. This win brought Al Ahli’s points tally to 21, positioning them third, just behind Al Sadd on goal difference. Conversely, Umm Salal’s points total stagnated at 11, leaving them in eighth place.

In a similar turn of events, Al Shamal overcame a one-goal deficit to claim a 2-1 victory over Al Rayyan at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. This win propelled Al Shamal to sixth place with 13 points, while Al Rayyan's points remained at 10, placing them ninth on goal difference.

Additionally, Al Gharafa reversed their fortunes against Al Wakrah, securing a 3-1 victory. This result allowed Al Gharafa to accumulate 18 points, positioning them fourth, while Al Wakrah's points total remained at 14, placing them fifth.

Al Shahania snatched three valuable points with a thrilling 3-1 victory over Qatar SC. The first half ended with Al Shahania leading, and in the second half, Qatar SC equalized. In stoppage time, while the match was heading towards a draw, Pelle van Amersfoort scored the second personal goal and the goal of the lead for Al Shahania, who did not stop at that, but scored the third goal through Lotfi Rabah Madjer to end the match 3-1.

With this result, Al Shahania raised its score to 11 points and jumped to seventh place, while Qatar SC’s score froze at 10 points in 11th place.
