Al Shamal coach Nuno Almeida spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 5 match against Al Khor.

“Once again, a difficult match awaits us in the league and this time it will be against Al Khor, a very good team that excels at defensive organization in a distinctive way. The evidence is that they have lost only one match out of the four matches they have played so far.

“I watched more than one match of Al Khor and we look forward to dealing with them in the appropriate manner during the match in order to achieve our goal, which is to win and collect the three points,” said Almeida.

Al Shamal player Mowafaq Awad said, “The match is very important for both teams looking for victory. We respect Al Khor a lot, but at the same time we will play with all seriousness in order to achieve our goal, which is to win and collect the three points.
