Al Khor coach Abdullah Mubarak spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 4 match against Al Arabi.

“We wish a speedy recovery to our star Ayman Hussein. He is a very important player in our scheme of things.

“We worked during the league’s break to correct mistakes and prepare the injured players, and we prepared completely. The players are ready for the game against Al Arabi and I hope that we will present our best performance.

“Al Arabi’s ranking does not indicate their level and they have made good signings. We enter every match to collect the three points and hope to achieve them in this match as well. Coach Younes Ali is like my son and has a distinguished mindset. For our part, we have great ambition and motivation to win this match,” said Abdullah Mubarak.

Al Khor’s Moroccan defender Adil Rhaili said, “Our preparations were excellent and we know that Al Arabi’s attack is strong, but we also have a strong defence as you have seen in previous matches. We know the extent of the responsibility on us and we must be up to it.

“Al Arabi are a big club and have good players. We appeared well in the previous matches and were close to winning in all matches. We are determined to appear in the best image and collect the three points against Al Arabi.”
