As part of special preparations for the final of Qatar Cup 2024 between Al Wakrah and Al Rayyan on Saturday, May 4, 2024, the Qatar Stars League (QSL) held a Technical Meeting at its headquarters in Al Bidda Tower on Thursday, May 2, 2024, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Sayed, Head of Football Operations at QSL, Mr. Jassim Al Hail, representative of the Referees Department of Qatar Football Association, and representatives of both teams.

The meeting discussed the following:

- Reviewing guidelines and procedures for match day and crowning ceremony.

- Approval of official kits for each team during matches (main and reserve).

- Emphasizing that in the event of tie in regular time, penalty shoot-out will be straightaway resorted to without extra time.
