Umm Salal face Al Duhail in Week 21 of the 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium of Al Gharafa club on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. The kick-off is at 6.30pm.

Both Umm Salal and Al Duhail are seeking to improve their positions in the table, especially since the game comes after the two teams moved away from the top-four bracket, and each side aims to end the league competition in a respectable position. Both teams would therefore push to clinch another win.

Umm Salal currently have 24 points and are in seventh place, while Al Duhail are placed fifth with 28 points. While Umm Salal defeated Al Arabi 2-1 in their previous clash, Al Duhail beat Muaither 5-2.

Umm Salal coach Patrice Carteron is striving to improve their position in the standings and to move forward following their win over Al Arabi. He would want his players to stay motivated, having regained the winning touch while mostly relying on Kenji Gorre, Adel Alawi, Marouane Louadni, Nasser Al Nasr and Oussama Tannane to deliver the goods.

As for Al Duhail, they are looking to end the competition in a satisfactory manner and coach Chirstophe Galtier would be relying on Michael Olunga, Almoez Ali, Sultan Al Breik, Ismail Mohammed, Ibrahima Diallo, Phillipe Coutinho and others to keep up their form.
