Umm Salal face Al Shamal in Week 16 of the 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium of Al Gharafa club on
Tuesday, March 5, 2024. The kick-off is at 8pm.

Both teams enter the match seeking three points. Umm Salal, who currently occupy the fifth position with 19 points, aim to advance further in the standings after achieving an important 2-1 victory in the previous round against Al Ahli.

As for Al Shamal, they are in the 10th position with 12 points and want to save themselves early from getting involved in the complex calculations related to the battle to avoid relegation or play the playoff match.

Umm Salal are coming from a morale-boosting victory over Al Ahli and the team is fully prepared. Coach Patrice Carteron will try to strengthen the team’s position in the standings.
