Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 14 match against Al Duhail.

“We congratulate our national team on winning the AFC Asian Cup for a second time in a row, and we congratulate our players Ahmed Fathi and Jassem Jaber who were a part of this achievement, and we are happy with the performance they presented with Al Annabi.

“Al Duhail have distinguished players, but we also have talented players who are able to make the difference, stop Al Duhail’s attack, and create scoring chances for us.

“The match will not be easy for both sides, especially after the long break due to the Asian Cup. We are looking forward to present a strong performance that will give us the three points.

“It has not been decided yet and we are waiting for the final training session to determine the possibility of all players participating in the match,” said Younes.

Al Arabi player Wassim Keddari said, “We are seeking to come back strongly and improve the team’s standing, and this will only come about with more effort.

“We are waiting for the clash against Al Duhail and the upcoming matches are also not easy. We have to focus throughout the match to get the desired result.
