Al Sadd face Al Shamal in Week 4 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 19:30 at the Khalifa International Stadium on Sunday, 26th September, 2021.

Al Sadd are in tremendous form in their bid to retain the league shield. Xavi Hernandez-coached side beat Al Rayyan 4-2 in the Qatar Clasico in Week 3 to extend their domination over the latter, having defeated them in both legs of last season’s Qatar Clasico.

Al Sadd had beaten Al Sailiya 2-0 and Qatar SC 3-1 in the other matches. The Wolves are placed second with nine points.

Al Sadd had won last season’s league championship by being the only unbeaten side.

Al Shamal, who returned to the First Division after six seasons, are on a high after registering their first victory, a 2-1 verdict over Qatar SC in Week 3.

Al Shamal, who had lost the first two matches (0-2 to Al Gharafa and 2-3 to Al Sailiya) are placed seventh with three points and coach Hisham Jadrane and his wards will be keen for repeat performances.
