Al Shamal coach Hisham Zahid spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 4 match against Al Arabi.
“A difficult match awaits us against a big team that has won all three of their matches so far.
“Al Arabi are a balanced team in all aspects and have a good coach whose influence on the players is high. They have many distinguished stars, such as Yousef Msakni.
“Our task against Al Arabi is difficult, but not impossible, and I am fully confident in the ability of our players to play with utmost strength and fighting spirit in order to achieve the desired result.
“I will miss Jassem Al Hashemi due to injury. Substitutes are ready to fill the absence of any player and the whole team is up to the responsibility,” said Hisham Zahid.
Al Shamal player Mohsen Al Yazidi said, “Certainly, facing Al Arabi will not be easy given the strength of the competitors and the good form they are having.
“Our preparations went off well over the past few days and we have great determination to keep winning.
“We seek to enhance our ranking in the table, which will only be achieved by achieving positive results despite the difficulty of all matches.”
