Al Khor coach Winfried Schafer spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Al Arabi.

“We know that Al Khor are a fighting team and all players should know that they are playing for the logo and for the club. And they have to give off everything they have so that we can get out of this situation.

“I know that there is pressure on the club administration and on us as a team, but I promise you that we will work to improve the team and appear in the best way.

“Our next match is against Al Arabi, which is a very excellent team and has high-level players. And we saw their level against Al Rayyan in the last match, and we must focus and fight throughout the 90 minutes.

“All players are working together and I am sure that they will fight for the three points,” said Schafer.

Al Khor player Khaled Massad said, “Al Arabi are stubborn team, but we will fight to reap the three points. We know that we are going through difficult circumstances, but we are working to get out of this situation with the technical and administrative staff.

“We are all together and everyone will fight for the logo and the club in this match, so we can get a positive result.”
