Al Rayyan coach Artur Jorge spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 17 match against Al Gharafa.

I am very happy with the players, not only with the performance and results, but also with their commitment, and this is the most important thing for me because I can trust the players when they fight like this.

“It is good for me, for the players and for the club to have a team at this moment that is confident, ambitious and performing well. We are only thinking about ourselves and what we have to do to win the match. The way we approach this match will give us the opportunity, or even several opportunities, to keep the three points,” said Artur Jorge.

Al Rayyan player Hazem Ahmed said, “The players are ready to face Al Gharafa. The victories the team has achieved are important during this crucial period. The most important thing is that after the setbacks we went through, we came back and succeeded in winning four consecutive matches in various competitions.

“We are ready for the Al Gharafa match, the atmosphere is excellent among the players and in the dressing room and we aspire to win the title and compete for all titles until the end of season.”
