Al Ahli coach Nebojsa Jovovic spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 7 match against Al Shamal.

“It is important to prepare the players to achieve victories, so I believe that it is necessary to prepare for the match with full focus.

“I do not want to talk about the problems with the team, including injuries and absences, but I work to ensure that Al Ahli are always fully prepared to provide the desired level.

“Al Ahli have not done their best so far due to different circumstances, but the team presents distinct levels that make facing it more difficult for all teams. Our team is developing from one game to another through great confidence and good performance.

“I am happy to see a number of our fans at the venues. Regardless of their number, their presence is an additional strength for the team during the matches. And there is unity between the players, technical staff and the club management,” said Nebojsa.
