Al Shamal coach Hicham Jadrane spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Wakrah.

“We are waiting for a very difficult match against a very strong and developed team, which has presented distinguished levels this season, and won against big teams in the league and occupy a good position in the league table.

“We are ready to face Al Wakrah, which will not be easy, whether at the level of the players or the technical staff, and we hope to achieve our goal.

“We have been experiencing technical stability during the recent period. The team has done well in the league and in the Ooredoo Cup, only one point separated us from qualifying for the semifinals.

“We salute our player Bahaa Faisal, who suffered a cruciate ligament injury during the FIFA Arab Cup,” said Hicham.

Al Shamal goalkeeper Marwan Badr El Din said, “Of course, the Al Wakrah match will be difficult given the strength of the opponent and the distinguished levels it has been providing since the beginning of the current season.

“With all our respect for the Al Wakrah team and full awareness of their strength, we will play the match with only one goal, which is to win and collect the three points. We have to be ready for that.”
