The Qatar Stars League (QSL) continues its preparations for 2026-2027 season QSL Cup, scheduled to begin on September 20, 2026. Technical Meeting for the tournament was held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with the participation of Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Sayed, Head of Football Operations at QSL, along with Mr. Hassan Al Thawadi, representative of Qatar Football Association’s Referees Department, and representatives from competing clubs.

During the meeting, several points and topics were reviewed and discussed, most notably:

- Clarifying all details related to the tournament system, match format and competition levels.

- Organizational procedures and guidelines for matchday operations, co-ordination between relevant parties to ensure smooth operations, and emphasis on adherence to instructions and deadlines.

- Confirming the approved kits for each team (home and away), in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.

- The Referees Department representative stressed the importance of full co-operation and co-ordination with the match officials and adherence to their instructions.
