Al Sadd face Al Khor in Week 10 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:05 at the Qatar SC Stadium on Saturday, 25th December, 2021.

Reigning champions Al Sadd are topping the table with 25 points with an unbeaten record, the only team to do so thus far. The Wolves have recorded eight victories and one draw, and have a goal difference of +22 (36 goals for and 14 against).

The only time Al Sadd dropped points was when they were held to a 3-3 draw with strong title rivals Al Duhail in Week 9 before the league took a long break.

On the other hand, Al Khor are last in the table with four points, yet to register a victory along with Al Ahli.

The Knights have four draws and five defeats against their name with a goal difference of -15 (seven goals for and 22 against).

Spaniard Javi Gracia was named as Al Sadd coach in December, 2021, after his compatriot Xavi Hernandez took over the reins at Barcelona, having achieved remarkable success with The Wolves, both as a player and coach.

Al Khor parted ways with German coach Winfried Schafer.

Meanwhile, Al Khor exited from the 2021-2022 Ooredoo Cup after finishing last in Group B, while Al Sadd did not feature in this season’s tournament.

Al Sadd have depth in their ranks to make up for the absence of their players who are on the injury list following the conclusion of Arab Cup.

Al Khor have the likes of Moroccan Ismail Al Haddad and Brazilian Kayke Rodriguez to counter the might of Al Sadd.
