Qatar Stars League Foundation organizes workshop and financial control platform for clubs for 2025-2026 season

The Qatar Stars League Foundation, in collaboration with the Qatar Football Association, held a workshop and financial control platform for clubs for the upcoming 2025-2026 sports season on Monday, June 23, 2025.

The workshop saw participation from various members of the Financial Control Committee, representatives from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Qatar Football Association, and companies affiliated with First Division and Second Division clubs.

The objective of this workshop is to examine the most recent developments concerning financial control regulations and requirements, the circulars released by the Qatar Football Association and the Qatar Stars League for the 2025-2026 season, as well as the latest updates on the financial control platform and the process of preparing financial plans using the ERP-Dynamics 365 financial control platform.

This initiative is part of the continuous endeavor to enhance the technical and financial performance of club companies. The agenda examined and deliberated on various subjects, particularly: governance and management, the Central Scouting Committee (CST) and its operational framework, club budgets and financial strategies for the 2025-2026 season, intermediaries for players and coaches, the circular released by the Qatar Football Association, pertinent circulars governing the operations of the Financial Control Committee, processes for settling operational expense payments, as well as penalties and sanctions for breaches of the Financial Control Regulations.

Additionally, a practical case study was presented demonstrating the use of the Financial Control Platform by connecting all football club companies (first division - second division), detailing how to formulate financial plans via the Financial Control Platform, and outlining the collaborative mechanism between club companies and the Financial Control Committee and Unit through the Financial Control Platform.

At the end of the workshop, several questions and comments from representatives of clubs were addressed and clarified.
