Al Gharafa face Qatar SC in Round 7 (Group B) of the 2021-2022 season Ooredoo Cup at the Al Khor Stadium on Friday. The kick-off is at 18:10.

Placed fourth in Group B, Al Gharafa have a tally of 5 points with only 1 win after five matches. Coached by Andrea Stramaccioni, Al Gharafa will rely on the experience of Sofiane Hanni, Cheick Diabete, Saifeldeen Fadlalla and Nasser Abdulsalam Alahrak for a turnaround in fortunes. 

Qatar SC, on the other hand, will be eager for a lift off from the bottom place. With only 1 win from 5 matches, Qatar SC just have 4 points to show for.

During one of their recent matches, Qatar SC lost ground against rivals when they lost to Al Sailiyah 8-0. Currently on a three-match losing streak, Qatar SC must regroup quickly with their young side to deliver a convincing performance.

Al Sailiyah currently lead the group followed by Al Khor, Al Arabi and Al Gharafa – all teams above Qatar SC. Qatar SC will be hoping Isaac Mbenza and Hossam Kamal come good in the clash on Friday.
