Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Wakrah.

“A tough match awaits us against Al Wakrah, and our preparations came well despite the many injuries and absences in the team, but I trust the current players to play a great match and return to the path of victories through the Al Wakrah match.

“The most important and difficult thing in the matches is to create chances, and during the Al Gharafa match we created many chances, but we were not successful in scoring, and in the Umm Salal match, we did not provide the return that gives us victory, as we did not create opportunities that would allow us to score, so we must work and register during next meeting.

"We will miss important players, but we will enter the Al Wakrah match with eleven players in the starting lineup. The names do not matter. All players are fully prepared for the match, and whoever plays will give his best to win," said Younes.

Al Arabi player Mohammed Badr Sayar said, “The Al Wakrah match is the key to the team's return to victories at the start of the second leg of the league, and we hope that victory will be with us.

"We lost some points in the last two games, and this came as a result of a lack of focus, but in the Al Wakrah match, the team will return and take advantage of the opportunities that we have to grab the victory and the three points.”
