Al Shamal coach Hisham Zahid spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 21 match against Al Wakrah.

“Al Wakrah include high-level players and a coach with great experience, so we have to be ready to face them, especially since we have a great desire to keep winning, having won in the last two rounds.

“We are ready to play a good match and our goal is to achieve a positive result in order to delight our fans, who have not failed us at all and have been the best support for us in the recent period. Also, the club management that supports the team in an unlimited way deserves rewards,” said Hisham.

Al Shamal goalkeeper Hassan Idriss said, “A difficult game awaits us against a large and distinguished team, which includes players at the highest level. We hope to get a positive result.

“Our goal is to win and collect the three points in order to ensure our stay in the league.
