Al Sadd drew with Spanish side Almeria 1-1 in their fourth friendly played during the training camp in preparation for the 2024-2025 season.

Almeria scored in the first half and Brazilian Paulo Otavio netted the equalizer for Al Sadd in the second half.

The Al Sadd team included goalkeeper Saad Al Dossari, Tareq Salman, Pedro Miguel, Musab Khader and Otavio in defence, Mohammed Waad, Ali Asaad and Guilherme Torres in midfield, and the attacking trio of Gonzalo Plata, Rafa Mujica and Hashem Ali.

Al Sadd had played three friendlies at the camp – the first against Manchester 62 from Gibraltar which The Wolves won 8-0, second against South Africa’s Orlando Pirates which Al Sadd won 3-2 and the third against Spanish side Las Palmas that ended in a goalless draw.
