Stallion’s head of football Mubarak Ghanim revealed the news in an exclusive interview with QSL online. “We are now looking for a professional player to replace Alain Dioko in the side, the player has missed a number of games in recent weeks though injury and we need our squad at full fitness for the remainder of the season.”
The news will be a major blow for Muaither coach Phillipe Birol, who will now have to search for a replacement for Dioko in time for their crunch round 17 match-up against Al Sadd. Ghanim did also reveal that his side is looking at two players as potential players. “We have two options at the moment; both players have experience of the QSL and are available we will make a decision in the coming days.”
Muaither are currently in last place in the QSL standings with eleven points from sixteen rounds of the QSL season.
