DOHA: Influential player Magid Ibrahim has returned to Al Sadd training as the Doha giants continue their preparation for the new football season.
 
The Qatar Stars League (QSL) season kicks off on September 15.
 
Al Sadd will play the Qatar national side in a friendly game on Saturday at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, it was announced on Thursday.
 
Qatar national team is preparing for their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Iran on September 1.
 
Al Sadd face Al Kharaitiyat in their season-opener on September 16 at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
 
Al Sadd has cancelled a training camp initially planned in the UAE and will instead continue to train in Doha ahead of the new QSL season.
