QSL side Lekhwiya has revealed their friendly schedule following the return to Doha from their training camp in Austria. According to their official website, the Red Knights will take part in three friendly matches ahead of their opening match of the QSL season against newly promoted Muaiter on the 17^th of September.

Djamel Belmadi’s side will face recently relegated Meisameer on the 9^th of August, whilst a second match eight days later will see Lekhwiya welcome Bahraini side Al Hidd. The Red Knights will then face Dubai club on the 21^st of August. Before finally taking on Al Rayyan on the 12^th of September in the Sheikh Jassim Cup, the traditional curtain raiser for the start of the domestic football season in Qatar.

Lekhwiya will then begin to focus on the QSL season on the 17^th of September, when they will take on newly promoted Muiater.
