QSL side Lekhwiya has announced changes to their friendly schedule as the Red Knights ramp up their preparations ahead of the new QSL season.Djamel Belmadi’s side was set to take on Bahraini champions Al Hidd, however the tie has now been canceled and the squad will now start to train and begin to focus on their match against a Dubai side on the 21st of August.
It will be the final game of preseason for the side, before they take on the QSL champions Al Rayyan on the 12th of September in the Sheikh Jassim Cup, the traditional curtain raiser for the start of the domestic football season in Qatar.
